San Francisco International Airport Commission
The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is a regional transportation hub that employs a large 24/7 workforce. The Airport Commission recognizes that this workforce needs dependable, quality childcare that responds to their changing and rotating work hours. The Commission has supported Palcare since the concept of a flexible, night-and-day child care center was first explored. Their ongoing partnership makes it possible for Palcare to provide non-traditional hours schedules for all families employed by SFO and its vendors. These families also have priority enrollment and maximum schedule flexibility.
San Mateo County Supervisors
The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors considers quality education and care for all children a priority. As part of a broad collaborative effort to increase the quality, quantity and affordability of childcare, the County joined with SFO and other founding partners to secure and renovate a building to create Palcare. The County continues to support Palcare with facility costs and a scholarship program. County of San Mateo employees have priority enrollment at Palcare.
